Color Catch · Memory Chess
Effective 30 September 2026
Color Catch collects no data. None at all. There is no account to create, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party software kits inside the app. The game itself is fully offline — every board, die roll, and match is computed on your device.
Nothing. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information or usage information about you. We never see your name, email address, contacts, photos, location, device identifiers, or how you play.
The app saves a small amount of information on your device so the game remembers your preferences between sessions:
This information stays on your device, inside the app's own storage. It is not sent anywhere, it is not readable by us, and deleting the app removes it.
Color Catch has no login, no registration, no profiles, and no cloud save. You can play the moment you open it.
The app contains no advertising networks, no analytics or crash-reporting kits, no social media kits, and no tracking of any kind. Playing the game itself makes no network requests. The app asks Apple's App Store for prices and purchases (see below). On launch, the app may contact Expo's update service (u.expo.dev) to check whether a newer build of the app is available; that check contains no personal data and no gameplay data — it is standard app-update infrastructure, not tracking.
From version 1.2, Color Catch offers one optional in-app purchase that unlocks the bigger boards, the Owl opponent and 3-player games, and optional tips that unlock nothing. Each one is behind a short math question meant for grown-ups. Purchases are made and processed entirely by Apple through the App Store, under Apple's own privacy policy: we never see your name, Apple Account, email or payment details. The app only asks the App Store, on your device, whether this Apple Account owns the unlock (and, for people who already had the app before 1.2, which version they first downloaded, so they keep everything free). None of this is sent to us or to anyone else, and the app still collects no data.
Color Catch is a family game rated 4+ and is safe for children. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects no personal information from children either — including children under 13. There is nothing for a parent to opt out of, no data for us to delete on request, and no way for a child to contact anyone through the app. There is no chat, no user-generated content, no social features, and no links out of the app apart from the support page a parent may choose to open in a browser.
If you send us an email for support, we will see the email address you write from and whatever you put in your message. We use it only to answer you, and we do not add it to any list.
Color Catch version 1.2 has no advertising and collects no data; its only purchases are the optional unlock and tips described above, handled by Apple. If a later version ever adds advertising, online play, or any other feature that touches data, this policy will be updated and published before that version is released, and the app's App Store privacy details will be updated to match. The effective date at the top of this page always shows when the current version took effect.
